I am a huge cartoon enthusiast. I may be 21 years old and a junior in college, but there is nothing in the world that gives me more joy than watching a cartoon show. It makes me happy because it makes me feel like a kid again. But when the subject of cartoons from the 90s or early 2000s is brought up, that’s when the real nostalgia kicks in.
In 1985, the Walt Disney Company kicked off its television animation department with the debut of the cartoon Disney’s Adventures of the Gummi Bears which aired on NBC. The then-CEO of Disney Michael Eisner was inspired to create this show when his son asked for the gummi bear candies.
